About Our Business
A/C Works was born out of a passion to meet the heating and air conditioning needs of homeowners in a personal, honest, and caring way, a service that we they observed wasn’t available when their business was founded in 2005. Any licensed technician can install equipment or change a part, but it takes a special person to be a trusted advisor, or even a friend, to their customers. At A/C Works, they make it a high priority to be that kind of person – providing an honest service experience along with trusted education so customers know how to properly maintain their systems and avoid those times when a service call may not really be necessary. Customers count on knowing A/C Works will be nothing less than totally professional, honest and trustworthy.
A/C Works is owned and operated by David and Rebekah Crawley. David has over 30 years’ experience in the HVAC industry and loves the way their business allows him to “take care of people”. Rebekah grew up in the business, with her father buying a sheet metal shop when she was 5 years old and growing it into an HVAC business that is still operating today.
David Crawley – Owner/President/General Manager
David is a native of McKinney, TX, being born in a hospital that was on University Drive where the Bank of America and the RaceTrac now stand. His family roots go back several generations in McKinney, with his grandfather serving as Speaker of the Texas House during the 50’s and 60’s. After having lived away for several years, David returned with his family in 2001.
David strives daily to be a consultant to the homeowner, letting each one know that he sincerely cares about their health, their family and their comfort. He has always felt that it was his calling in life to help people, making it his goal to provide personal service on a one-to-one basis with every customer that he works for. This has provided him with the opportunity and the privilege to have many customers refer to him as their friend.
David is an avid woodsman and fisherman, going camping and getting lost in the woods as often as possible.
Rebekah Crawley – Owner/VP/Administrative Director
Rebekah was raised in northern Arkansas where she grew up in her dad’s HVAC business. She started by answering the phone in the office at 12 years old, taking on more and more tasks until she became the office manager for the company. Later she opened her own business in bookkeeping and personal tax preparation. She continued to work in the administrative/management field until she and David opened A/C Works in 2005. Rebekah manages the office, capitalizing on her years of HVAC administrative, and accounting experience to provide the absolute best for their customers. She believes the only way to be successful is to be completely honest and attentive to every detail, providing an experience that is exceedingly rare in business today.
Rebekah also owns and operates Rebekah’s Dream Studio, which has recently opened in McKinney. Capturing her dream of being a professional photographer, the studio specializes in fine portraiture, professional headshots, and volume photography. She has earned her CPP CertifiedProfessional Photographer) certification from the Professional Photographers of America.
Rebekah is also a Notary Public, serving their customers with no-cost notaries in-office.
David and Rebekah have been married for 34 years and have a son, Samuel, and a daughter, Kristen. They also have one grandson, three granddaughters, and a miniature dachshund who has been part of the family or almost 15 years. They love to travel all over the world, following Rebekah’s photography business any time they can get away. They are members of Christian Life Tabernacle in Bedford, TX, where Rebekah plays the organ. Being faith-based Christians, David and Rebekah strive to perate their business on those same values and principles.
Samuel Crawley – Sales/Service
Born in northern Arkansas, Samuel moved with his family to McKinney in 2001 and graduated from the first class of McKinney North High School in 2005. He has been around the HVAC industry his entire life and is third generation HVAC, doing what his family does best – providing the highest quality service. education and expertise to families all over Collin ounty. With fifteen years’ experience, Samuel has acquired great technical knowledge. He is one of the youngest HVAC techs in the field, but his experience is second to none.
Samuel spends his spare time playing guitar and making music, and has a 12-year-old son, Brennan. They love to go camping, fishing and anything outdoors.
Jason Ewing – Service Technician
Jason graduated Princeton High School in 2018. He attended two years of HVAC classes in high school and graduated with an HVAC certification. Jason started his apprenticeship with A/C Works in 2018 and has been with us for two years. He enjoys the outdoors and spends his time fishing as often as possible. He was born in Plano and has resided in Princeton, TX for 19 years. Jason displays the same professional demeanor and commitment to caring, quality service that is the hallmark of A/C Works, and we are proud of the skill and knowledge he brings to our team. We consider him to be part of our family here.
Continuing Education
As professional HVAC contractors, A/C Works’ technicians attend continuing education training to stay current on industry standards and specifications for every aspect of heating, air conditioning, ventilation and EPA regulation. The company maintains the most current information at alltimes in order to provide our customers with the best and most accurate information regarding their home and equipment.
David holds a Texas HVAC contractor’s license which is maintained annually in accordance with the requirements of the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Sam and Jason hold TDLR registrations as well.

Recognizing the challenging times we live in, A/C Works consistently practices social distancing and performs full sanitizing and disinfecting of vans, equipment, tools, and uniforms between every call and at the end of each day according to CDC guidelines.
