A/C Works was founded through the process of many years of working for 3 HVAC companies, including Rebekah’s father’s business in Arkansas, which is where David initially was introduced to the trade. After gaining extensive education, training and experience for over 20 years, they felt it was time to take the opportunity that had been afforded to the family and open their own business in the McKinney area. Since David was born in McKinney and raised in the surrounding area until his early teens, then returning in 2001 with their family, it seemed only natural to again take root in his hometown.
A/C Works has grown from an office in a dining room and a shop in the garage to where they are today in McKinney. Adequately equipped with a large shop, garage and a retail business office, it has definitely come full circle with the experience their customers have given opportunity for them to grow according to their needs.
In 2005, while working for a local company, David and I were finally ready to start our own business. With little capital and a lot of determination, we began. I had worked in my dad’s business, implementing the foundation for what it would take to run a successful HVAC office, and knew we had what it took to start something special. After 20 years of intense field experience, performing every job known in the industry – from blown insulation to service to full installations in both the residential and commercial arenas, David became an expert troubleshooter, being called on by his peers and supervisors to diagnose what couldn’t be resolved by others. We knew we had something different to offer that others couldn’t even come close to. Not only the expertise in the field, but the heart to care about peoples’ needs. We soon learned that our customers’ main concerns were finding a company that they could trust to be honest, fair and knowledgeable without compromise. It didn’t take long for them to tell their friends and family about David and his work ethics.
Through the years, A/C Works has grown into one of the most successful and reputable HVAC companies in the greater McKinney area. Serving our customers with honesty, professionalism, and courtesy are foundations that we stand on firmly and with dignity. Striving to continue as a family-oriented business is the mainstay, serving the residential homeowner and their families.
