David has been in the HVAC industry since he married Rebekah in the 1980s. Having worked as an offshore sander and painter, hovering about the gulf waters, he wanted to be in a safer industry so he could be close to his family.
Working for his father-in-law in northern Arkansas, David dove into the Trane® training for the first 20 years of his career. Obtaining certifications in every aspect of Trane equipment, he became the go-to problem solver in all areas of residential installations. He is one of the best residential HVAC troubleshooters in north Texas, and is the heart and soul of the company.
David has always considered this industry his calling and opportunity in life to help people, making it his goal to provide personal service on a one-to-one environment with every customer. This has provided him with the opportunity and the privilege to have many customers refer to him as their friend.
David is a native of McKinney, TX, being born in the hospital that was on University Drive where the Bank of America and the RaceTrac now stand. His family roots go back several generations in McKinney, with his grandfather serving as Speaker of the Texas House during the 50’s and 60’s. After having lived in Arkansas and Missouri for several years, David returned with his family in 2001.
David is an avid woodsman and fisherman, going camping and getting lost in the woods as often as possible. He is married to Rebekah, and they have 2 children and 12 grandchildren.
Rebekah Crawley is the heart of the A/C Works office, acting as General Manager and CFO, overseeing the company’s financial, marketing, employment, and administrative operations. During the first 15 years of the company’s growth, she personally managed every aspect of the office, handling responsibilities that eventually grew into multiple full-time positions. Today, she continues to lead the financial and marketing departments while working alongside David to manage the general operation of the day-to-day needs of the business.
Raised in northern Arkansas, Rebekah grew up in her father’s HVAC company, where she developed a deep understanding of the industry from an early age. She eventually became the office manager and played a key role in implementing the new frontier of computerized systems during the early 1990s. Her extensive background in HVAC administration, business management, and accounting has provided a strong foundation for the success of A/C Works since its founding in 2005.
Rebekah believes that true success comes from honesty, integrity, and attention to detail. She is committed to ensuring every customer receives an exceptional experience, built on trust, transparency, and personalized service—qualities that are increasingly rare in today’s business environment.
In addition to her role at A/C Works, Rebekah is a professional photographer who has pursued her lifelong passion through earning her CPP (Certified Professional Photographer) designation from the Professional Photographers of America. She is also a commissioned Notary Public and proudly provides complimentary in-office notary services to their customers.
David and Rebekah have been married for 40 years and are proud parents of two children, Samuel and Kristen, and she is Nana to twelve grandchildren. Their family also includes a beloved fox-red English Labrador name Sedona Rose and a German Shepherd/Wolf mix named Wylie.
When they’re not serving customers, David and Rebekah enjoy traveling and exploring the world, often combining their adventures with Rebekah’s photography pursuits. They are active members of Christian Life Tabernacle in Bedford, Texas, where Rebekah serves by playing the piano and organ, and being a part of the Church Directory team. Their Christian faith guides both their personal lives and business practices, and they strive to operate A/C Works with the same values of honesty, compassion, integrity, and service that have defined the company from the beginning.
